Things To Do in Fife

Fife is a beautiful county with lots to see and do. Fife Regional Park is literally on our doorstep,

the Lomond hills being the  most prominent landmark in the county and the centre of 25 square miles of moorland, lochs and farmland walks. In addition there are other countryside gems

to be found throughout the region

A 10 minute drive from Firbank, through the foothills of the Lomond Hills, finds you in the picturesque village of Falkland, famous for its royal palace......and more recently a location

for the popular Outlander series.

In contrast we boast 117 miles of Coastal Path with breathtaking scenery passing through

places such as the Royal Burgh of Culross, the beautiful fishing villages in the East Neuk

and historic St. Andrews.

If you enjoy golf there are 55 golf courses throughout the region, the closest a 5 minute drive

from Firbank B&B.

Public transport is excellent - the bus stop outside the B&B takes you to the local bus station

where buses run regularly to St.Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee among others. The

train station is 3 miles from the house which again has links to all the major cities and towns.

By car Edinburgh is about an  hour, St.Andrews, Perth, Stirling and Dundee approximately 40 minutes drive.
